The challenge
For many kidney patients, treatment is more than a medical challenge. It's a logistical one.
Dialysis is a demanding routine. Beyond the treatment itself, patients and families manage travel, timing, cost and coordination — week after week.
Repeated travel
Several journeys each week to a dialysis unit, often over long distances.
Transportation
Arranging safe, reliable transport for a patient who may be weak after treatment.
Waiting
Time spent waiting for a slot, a machine or a review appointment.
Caregiver coordination
Family members rearranging work and responsibilities around each session.
Treatment costs
The combined cost of treatment, transport and time away from work.
Limited dialysis capacity
Pressure on the number of available dialysis stations and slots.
Our model
A coordinated renal-care experience, delivered closer to home.
Five connected stages, each with defined responsibilities, documentation and clinical oversight. Select a stage to see what it involves.
How it works
Five steps, from first conversation to ongoing care.
Care never begins with equipment. It begins with an assessment.
Step 01
Patient Assessment
Care begins with a professional clinical assessment. A patient's medical condition, treatment history and suitability for home-based dialysis are reviewed with nephrologist input.
- Clinical review
- Eligibility criteria
- Care planning discussion
Step 02
Home Setup
If the patient is clinically and practically eligible, the home is assessed and prepared. Portable dialysis equipment and a water-treatment system are installed and tested.
- Home environment assessment
- Equipment installation
- Water treatment and testing
Step 03
Scheduled Dialysis
Trained dialysis nurses deliver treatment in the home according to the prescribed schedule, following infection-control and documentation protocols.
- Trained dialysis nurses
- Infection-control protocols
- Session documentation
Step 04
Remote Medical Supervision
Treatment records and laboratory results are reviewed through tele-nephrology, allowing a nephrologist to supervise care and respond to changes.
- Nephrologist oversight
- Laboratory-result review
- Alerts and escalation
Step 05
Ongoing Support
Consumables, maintenance, laboratory coordination and medical waste collection are managed on the patient's behalf, with 24/7 support for questions and concerns.
- Consumables management
- Equipment maintenance
- 24/7 patient support

Clinical governance
Clinical Governance Is at the Heart of Our Model.
Nephrologist oversight, trained dialysis nurses, defined eligibility criteria, infection control, documentation, escalation, equipment maintenance and clinical audits.
Home dialysis is not appropriate for every patient. Movincare's care pathway begins with professional clinical assessment and consideration of the patient's medical condition and home environment.
